About Jerry Mayeroff
Jerry Mayeroff is president of Mayeroff and Associates, which specializes in developing marketing, communications and promotional programs, printed and online promotional materials and communications campaigns. Services range from media consultation and production of traditional media, sales and marketing communications, to development of online content, sports marketing and publishing of convention/conference publications, advertising and promotional materials, both printed and digital. Since its founding in 1995, Mayeroff and Associates has served a client roster that includes major national event production firms, newspaper organizations, sports marketing agencies, international trade agencies, small business start-ups and others.
Mayeroff has been involved in media marketing and promotion for more than thirty years, including sixteen years at the Chicago Tribune, where he served as Promotion Manager, responsible for the management, development and production of advertising and promotional projects, programs and materials to support Advertising and Circulation Department sales, the Editorial product, along with new media and electronic media efforts. In addition, Mayeroff managed the Chicago Tribune sports and event marketing efforts and the newspaper’s media-buying programs.
Mayeroff was involved with the Newspaper Association of America since its inception, and has served on its Promotion and Market Development Council and as an officer of the Promotion & Market Development Federation. He has previously served the International Newspaper Marketing Association on its international board of directors and as President of its Central Region.
A native Chicagoan, Mayeroff received his Bachelor of Science degree in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
